RECREATIONAL ACTIVITY- Musical Chair

Learning Outcomes

Students will learn about the motion of Earth and other planets around the Sun.

Students will learn about the change in day and night that occurs because of Earth's revolution.

Description Of Activity

Few chairs will be kept in middle of the circular track. Theses chairs will act as the Sun. The students running around the chairs will symbolixe the planets rotationg around the Sun. Circular tracks will be drawn using Lime powder. 

The teacher will explain about the rotation and revolution of Earth and other planets around the sun.

Variations

The positioning of the Sun and all the planets will be explained through a a sports activity.

Change in Day and Night will be explained by the formation of shadows.

Coaching Tips

By integrating this chapter with sports activity, students will be able to understand topics effectively.
