Description Of Activity

At the time of supertackle when a raider is tackled by two or Three defenders. The team is awarded as 1 + 1 point.

During the game when a raider raides the opponents court if there is only one defender. When the raider gets him out the team is awarded with 1 + 2 points (1 point of the defender and 2 points as lona).

Variations

Generally, raiders are considered as bulls who play against the defenders. The essence of the game is the holding of the raiders by the defenders. Though variations emerged and rules were framed, the game’s principal objective remained unchanged International.

Coaching Tips

  • It is only worth players moving into the attack zone if there is a chance of scoring. This reduces the instances of mindless “go forward” where a player does not recognise the full consequences of their foray.
  • players should attack the gaps between the defenders.
  • players should look to pass to players in the spaces that appear as the defenders close gaps elsewhere.
  • Have the extra attacking player lurking deeper, e.g. at the back of the creation zone. This player can add pace, or see gaps to attack more easily than the players in front of them.
  • The attackers should use loops and switches to pull the defenders out of position, and miss passes to put atticking players into gaps.

  • proper clothing. It must consist of half shirt and short pants.
  • Shoes. It is important for getting right shoes so that it will not obstruct your game
