Activity
1.Students will be able to understand the method of farming.
2.They will learn the development of modern method of farming to achieve higher per acre yield.
We take all the student in two different situation.
In first case we scatter the students in the field and observe the presence of student- In some area most of student are standing and some part of the field is vacate i.e. unoccupied by the students.
In second case, divide the students into various inner and outer fencing groups like square sector position.
In inner most square place the studentson the each corner of square ( fixed position) so that they looks like sapling of a crop.
The no. of sapling of each row is counted, the no. of rows are counted, the gap of each row is equally divided. so that it looks like the presence of students are equally distributed in the given field, and through this finding out the total no. of sapling per acre required.
And lastly, we may compare the earlier method with the fencing method, how it is beneficial for us in per acre yield as well as consumption of raw material.
The same activity can be used for demonstrating the production of other crops also
Teacher can tell the student about this method, how the per acre yield of paddy is more than the traditional scattering of seed method.
