Description Of Activity

How to Play

  1.  Students will divided in to four group.
  2. Collect the  some warped polyhedron and non polyhedron solids  with paper and pen by math lab.
  3.  All  4 students of group 1st  stand 100 meter apart from each other.
  4. Judges will seated also 100 meter apart from 4th student of the group.After long whistle,(Time will noted) first student will pick a solid and unwrapped it, and run away toward the second student and hand over it. Second 
  5. student count the face, overtax, edge  and write down now he run away  toward third student of the group and share own opinion . Third student will verify the Euler's formula on the basis of second student observation and run away toward fourth student and hand over it . Fourth student will identify the solid is polyhedron or non polyhedron on the basis of third student opinion . finally  he run away toward judge and submitted your idea. Now time be noted by judges. This procedure will follow all groups and observation and time will be recorded. 
  6. Winning group will be declare on the basis of correctness of solid is polyhedron or not polyhedron and which group have take less time to complete the activity.

Variations

  1. It can be conducted by boys vs Girls.
  2. It can be conducted on 800 meter race.

Coaching Tips

Student will encouraged to collect polyhedron and non polyhedron solids.
