White light (sunlight) is made of seven colours

Description Of Activity

First of all select seven students and dress them in seven different colour that is voilet ,indigo,blue,green, yellow, Orange,red.of the spectrum (light).Dress some students in White uniform.Students will be take in the playground.Some students will be arranged in the shape of the prism.Some students will stand forming a wall through which white light is coming towards prism in the form of a beam leaving a small space.Students in white uniform will come forming aline through the space left and touch one side of the prism.The students standing on the other side of the prism dressed in seven colours will start moving away from the prism showing spectrum (seven colours).

Variations

More students can be taken in seven colours to form full rays of seven colours.Bubbles of water also behave like a prismcan also be showen using basketball ground central circle.

Coaching Tips

Students will be told that every concept can be well understood by watching and loving the mother Nature.We must take care of our nature.
