Learning Outcomes

1. Sunshine and fresh air are more important than medicines.

2. Stimulation of vitamin D to make our bone strong.

3. Values ( Team work, trust, self belief, confidence,  determination, friendship Goal oriented)

4. Early morning sunshine is salubrious.

Description Of Activity

1. An outdoor Yoga session for half an hour.

2. Demo will be given by a skilled student.

3. Other students as well as teacher concerned will follow the instruction of the demonstrator.

4. Physical movement from head to toe is exercised.

5. Bending of knee, elbow and waist are strengthen.

6. Comparison of the conditions between hygroscopic and arid environment is realized.

Variations

1. Participation in and promotion to Outdoor games like football, cricket, hockey etc.

2. Playing hide and seek game.

 

Coaching Tips

1. Teacher will describe the importance of yoga for keeping our body and mind healthy 

2. To remain distress and out of anxiety yoga plays an important role.

3. Teacher will describe about different angles used in performing yoga(surya-namaskar).

4. Teacher will describe the role of sunlight for our body to synthesize Vitamin-D and its impotance.

5. Yoga helps our ligament and bones more flexible and strong.

6. Exposure to sunshine keeps our body free from skin disease.

7. Sunlight expedites the growth of flora and fauna both.

 

 

Equipment/Material Required

1. Neat and  clean yoga mat preferably made of light fibre material.

2. A strong Wooden cot meant for demonstration of yoga.
