
Activity
Students will be able to:
1.Prepare Hockey ground with the help of students and guide them how is a hockey field like a number line? ( It’s divided into equal numbered parts; players move the ball to different points toward the goal relative to the starting point of play, or away from the goal relative to the starting point of play.)
2.Make students clear the rules of game.Also set goals for each team.
3.Divide students into groups of three or four.
4.Ask one team in the group to start the game.
5.Ask the team to get the ball into the other team’s goal.
6. Have a record of each time goal of each team.
.7For the Final result of each team we will add and subtract goals in positive & negative directions.(Positive numbers to represent goals score and negative numbers to represent goals scored in the opposing team court.)
Ask students to work out with other sports also like long jump etc.
Encourage students to prepare Hockeyground by dividing into equal numbered parts .
Measuring tapes/ ropes, white lime powder.
