To learn inside of foot passing.
POSTURE:
A. The ball is approached frontally. There is no bending of the leg.
B. During the pass, the upper body is bent over the ball. (high = the upper body is not bent over the ball)
SUPPORTING LEG:
1. Before the pass is executed, the supporting leg is beside the ball. (high = the supporting leg is behind the ball)
2. The body weight is shifted onto the leg.
3. The supporting leg is slightly bent and the toes are pointing in the direction of play.
KICKING LEG:
1. Swing the kicking leg loosely back, while turning it slightly outward.
2. The toes are also pointing outward.
3. The ball is hit exactly at the center of the instep.
4. During the pass, the kicking leg swings loosely through.
COMMON MISTAKES:
1. Leg is bent.
2. Supporting leg is not beside the ball. (high = supporting leg is not behind the ball)
3. Upper body is not over the ball. (high = upper body over the ball).
4. The area of contact is off-center.
Look to where you want to pass
Step and kick the ball with the inside of your foot
Try to keep the ball along the ground by leaning forward
Focus on accuracy, rather than power
