Description Of Activity

Warm-up (5 minutes):
Jogging: Light jog around the court to increase heart rate and blood flow.
Dynamic Stretches: Perform arm circles, leg swings, torso twists, and high knees to prepare the body for movement.
Ball Handling: Basic ball handling drills, such as dribbling, bouncing, and tossing the ball, to develop ball control.

Activity Description - Chest Pass Technique Breakdown:
Grip: Hold the ball firmly with both hands, fingers spread wide, and thumbs together.
Stance: Stand with feet shoulder-width apart, knees slightly bent, and body facing the target.
Preparation: Bring the ball to chest height, elbows slightly out.
Execution: Extend arms forward, pushing the ball with a strong, coordinated movement from the chest. Follow through with arms and body.

Demonstration:
Coach demonstrates the correct chest pass technique, breaking down each step.
Emphasize the importance of a strong, coordinated push and following through.

Partner Passing:
Divide players into pairs.
Partners stand close together and practice passing the ball back and forth.
Focus on accuracy and catching the ball cleanly with both hands.

Distance Progression:
Gradually increase the distance between partners as players become more proficient.
Encourage players to adjust their pass strength accordingly.

Target Practice:
Set up targets (cones, hoops, or lines) at different distances.
Players aim their chest passes at the targets to improve accuracy.

Passing Lanes:
Create passing lanes using cones or markers.
Players practice passing through specific lanes to develop precision.

Cool Down (5 minutes):
Static Stretches: Hold stretches for arms, shoulders, legs, and back to cool down muscles.
Relaxation: Encourage deep breathing and relaxation to reduce heart rate.
