Activity
Understand the "give and go" offensive tactic, improve quick passing and receiving while moving.
Students work in pairs. Player A passes the ball to Player B and then immediately runs towards the goal (or a designated area). Player B catches the ball and passes it back to Player A as they continue their run.
Introduce a passive defender.
Vary the angle of the initial pass and the return pass.
Practice finishing with a shot after the return pass.
Emphasize the timing of the initial pass and the run.
Focus on a quick and accurate return pass.
Encourage the receiver (Player B) to hold their position briefly to allow the runner to get ahead.
Handballs, cones (optional for marking starting positions)
