Activity
Improve hand-eye coordination and the ability to move the ball around different body parts while maintaining control.
Students stand with feet shoulder-width apart. They use both hands to pass the ball around their head, then around their waist, and then around each leg individually. Encourage smooth, controlled movements close to the body.
Change the direction of the rotations (clockwise and counter-clockwise).
Try doing the rotations with one hand at a time for short intervals.
Emphasize keeping the ball close to the body.
Encourage using the fingertips to guide the ball.
Start slowly and gradually increase speed as comfort improves.
