Activity
Improve dribbling while following instructions, develop spatial awareness and the ability to react to movement.
The teacher or a designated student leads the group, dribbling the ball and performing simple movements (e.g., changing direction, dribbling in a circle). The other students follow and copy the movements while dribbling.
Increase the complexity of the movements.
Have students take turns being the leader.
Introduce simple feints (e.g., a slight change of pace or direction).
Start with clear and easy-to-follow movements.
Encourage students to maintain control of the ball while changing direction.
Provide positive reinforcement for accurate imitation.
