Red Light, Green Light Dribble-Stop and Go Dribble
Learning Outcomes
Develop the ability to start and stop dribbling quickly, improve ball control in different situations.
Description Of Activity
Students dribble in a designated area. When the teacher calls "Green Light," they dribble. When the teacher calls "Red Light," they stop the ball with their hand and keep it still.
Variations
Introduce "Yellow Light" for dribbling slowly.
Have students change direction quickly after stopping.
Add a "Freeze" command where students hold their dribbling position.

Focus on stopping the ball cleanly and quickly.
