Description Of Activity

Children will practice the "T-Stop" technique, where one skate is positioned perpendicular to the other to slow down and stop. They will practice stopping in a controlled environment with cones to mark the stopping point.

Variations

Introduce the "Snowplow Stop" (pointing toes inward to stop).
