Description Of Activity

  • Warm-up: Begin with light jogging or marching to warm up the muscles.
  • Stance: Explain the proper skating stance: feet shoulder-width apart, knees slightly bent, and back straight.
  • Balance Drills:
    • Practice balancing on one foot.
    • March in place while maintaining balance.
    • Walk slowly forward and backward.
  • Falling Practice: Demonstrate how to fall safely by rolling onto your side.

Variations

Balance drills with arm movements.
Walk in a circle or figure-eight pattern.
