Description Of Activity
- Team Formation: Divide players into two or more teams.
- Starting Position: Each team lines up behind a designated starting line. The first player in each line holds a basketball.
- The Relay: On the coach's signal, the first player dribbles the ball to a designated cone or line, then back to their team, passing the ball to the next player in line. This continues until all players have completed the relay.
Variations
- Weaving: Incorporate weaving patterns between cones or players.
- Obstacle Course: Set up an obstacle course with various challenges, such as jumping over objects or dribbling around chairs.
- Hand Changes: Require players to change hands while dribbling.
- Speed Dribbling: Time the relay and challenge teams to improve their speed.
