Description Of Activity

Ask children to walk across the room like different animals: bear walk (hands and feet), crab walk (hands and feet, belly facing up), or frog jump (squatting and jumping).
Encourage them to balance and move in different ways while keeping their bodies steady.
 

Variations

Incorporate other animals like duck walks or bunny hops.
Set up an obstacle course where children have to move through different animal walks.
