Description Of Activity

Arm circles - 3 minutes.
Shadow boxing - 5 minutes.
Wrist stretches - 2 minutes.

  • Ready Stance (Joon-bee): Begin in the ready stance.
  • Chambering: Chamber the fist near the chest.
  • Punch Execution: Extend the lead fist straight forward, rotating the body for power.
  • Recoil: After the punch, retract the fist back to the chamber.

Variations

For beginners: Perform the punch slowly, focusing on form.
For advanced students: Perform punches at a higher speed and incorporate combinations.

Coaching Tips

Keep the wrist straight and aligned with the forearm to avoid injury.
Rotate your body for maximum power during the punch.
