Description Of Activity

Children will hold the parachute and try to make small balls or toys bounce (pop) by shaking the parachute rapidly. The goal is to get the objects to pop into the air.

Place several softballs or small toys on the parachute.
Have the children hold the parachute and shake it gently at first.
Gradually increase the shaking speed to make the objects bounce (pop) into the air.
Try to catch the objects as they pop up.

All children must shake the parachute in sync.
Ensure everyone holds the parachute securely to maintain the rhythm.

Variations

Add more objects to make the challenge more difficult.
Create a competition to see who can pop the most objects into the air.

Coaching Tips

Encourage children to work together to shake the parachute in a steady rhythm.
Remind them to shake the parachute quickly but safely.
