Hopping in a Circle

Description Of Activity

Children will hop around a large circle marked on the floor or the ground, either clockwise or counterclockwise. This will help them work on directional movement.

 

Variations

Use different shapes (e.g., square or triangle) for children to hop around.
Have them hop to the rhythm of a song or clap.
