Cone Weaving Drill

Description Of Activity

Players will weave in and out of a set of cones placed in a straight line. The focus should be on quick, controlled movements while keeping their head up.

Variations

Add a ball at the feet to control while weaving.
Increase the distance between the cones for more challenge.

Coaching Tips

Encourage players to stay low to the ground for better balance.
Emphasize quick, short steps to maintain speed.
Keep the body facing forward and only move the feet.

Equipment/Material Required

10-15 cones.
Cones should be about 2 feet apart.
