Activity
Improve underhand throwing technique (swing, step, release).
Develop aim, accuracy, and hand–eye coordination.
Enhance spatial awareness and control of force.
Build confidence and independence in basic throwing tasks.
Place 34 hoops (or chalk circles) at different distances in front of each student or pair.
Give each child 3 beanbags/soft balls.
Students must throw each object underhand and try to land it inside the hoops.
Closest hoop = easy far hoop = challenge.
Students collect their beanbags after each round and try again.
Teacher Cues:
Step with the opposite foot.
Swing arm like a pendulum.
Watch where you throw.
Gentle release.
Class 1
Only the closest hoop is active.
Beanbags instead of balls.
Sit or kneel for easier control.
Class 2
Throw to coloured hoops when the teacher calls the colour.
Add 1–2 steps back after success.
Throw → catch bounce (light bounce toss).
Class 3
