Activity Description
Set-up:
Divide participants into two equal teams.
Draw a large tic-tac-toe board on the ground using chalk or tape.
Make sure there is enough space for each team to form a line behind their starting point, which should be a distance away from the tic-tac-toe board.
How to play:
Explain the rules of tic-tac-toe to the participants.
Each team will take turns sending one player at a time to place their beanbag on the tic-tac-toe board.
Players must run to the board, place their beanbag in an empty square, and then run back to tag the next player in line.
The first team to get three of their beanbags in a row (horizontally, vertically, or diagonally) wins the game.
If all squares are filled and no team has won, the game is a draw.
Cool-down (5 minutes)
Static stretches: holding each stretch for 15-20 seconds.
Examples: hamstring stretch, quad stretch, calf stretch, arm stretches, trunk twist.
Instead of beanbags, use different colored objects to represent X's and O's.
Add a challenge by requiring players to perform a specific exercise (like jumping jacks or squats) before placing their beanbag.
Create a larger tic-tac-toe board for more players.
Encourage teamwork and communication between team members.
Emphasize the importance of speed and accuracy when placing the beanbags.
Rotate players to ensure everyone gets a chance to participate.
Modify the game for different age groups or skill levels.
Chalk or tape
Beanbags or small objects (one per player)
