Students will learn to work individually and in pairs.
Students stand inside a marked circle or grid. Balls are placed in the center.
On the teachers whistle:
Students run toward the center, grab one ball, and return to their starting spot.
After placing the first ball, they run again to grab another ball.
Continue until all balls are collected from the center.
Progression:
Increase speed by shortening time limits.
Reduce ball count so students must compete for limited objects.
Use different sizes and textures of balls to challenge grip skills.
Pair Grab: One student grabs the ball while the partner receives it.
Color Grab: Teacher calls a colour; students must pick the correct colored ball.
Moving Grab: Balls roll slowly; students chase and grab them.
Obstacle Grab: Place cones/markers to navigate before grabbing.
