Activity
Improves passing accuracy and ball control.
Develops spatial awareness and ability to find teammates quickly.
Enhances listening skills and quick decision-making.
Builds teamwork and communication between players.
Strengthens first touch and movement off the ball.
Divide players into a group of 46 students.
Each player gets a number (1, 2, 3, 4, etc.).
Players stand in a scattered formation within a marked grid (small area).
Start with player 1. Player 1 passes the ball to player 2.
Player 2 then passes to player 3, and so on
After passing, each player must move to a new space inside the grid (no standing still).
When the highest number passes, they pass back to 1, continuing the sequence.
Continue for 23 minutes, then switch numbers or increase difficulty.
Reverse Order: Pass in reverse (5 → 4 → 3 → 2 → 1).
Add Defenders: 1–2 defenders try to intercept the passes.
One-Touch Passing: Players use only first touch to pass.
Weak Foot Only: All players pass using their non-dominant foot.
Timer Challenge: How many full sequences can they complete in 1 minute?
Movement Rule: After passing, players must jog to a cone, sprint to a marker, or rotate clockwise.
Emphasize proper passing technique: inside foot, follow through.
Encourage players to call out numbers before passing (“2 — here!”).
Remind players to stay on their toes and be ready to receive.
Keep passes soft and accurate, not forceful.
Watch spacing—players shouldn’t bunch up.
Praise communication and good movement.
