Learning Outcomes

Students will maintain 3-stroke breathing rhythm, minimize head lift, sustain streamlined body position, and demonstrate consistent, efficient inhalation and exhalation during 10–15 meter swims.

Description Of Activity

Students swim short distances practicing 3-stroke breathing rhythm: inhale, exhale, repeat. Teacher monitors timing, head position, and stroke flow. Students focus on minimizing head lift and maintaining body streamline. Progressive intervals are used to build breath efficiency. Positive reinforcement helps reduce anxiety when turning for breath.
