Students will tread water independently for 1–2 minutes, maintain upright posture, use efficient arm and leg movements, control breathing, and conserve energy while demonstrating water safety awareness.

Description Of Activity

Students tread water in deep area using arm sculling and flutter kicks. Teacher demonstrates posture and technique. Practice intervals gradually increase from 20 seconds to 12 minutes. Emphasis on upright position, calm breathing, and energy conservation. Partners encourage proper form. Short games like tread to the wall add engagement.
