Description Of Activity
Place one gym mat per group.
- Form groups of approximately 7 children per mat.
- Mark a defined movement area.
- One child at a time sits, lies, or crouches on the magic carpet (mat).
- The rest of the group pulls the mat steadily around the defined area.
- The rider controls the speed by giving commands such as slower, faster, or just right.
- After a short turn, children rotate roles so everyone gets a chance to ride and pull.
