To practise leaping from one foot to the other with balance and control.
Create short river lines on the ground.
Keep rivers narrow for Prep students.
Children line up with safe spacing.
Children pretend there is a river on the ground.
One at a time, they leap over the river.
Take off from one foot and land on the other foot.
Land softly with knees bent and arms out for balance.
Walk back and repeat.
