Description Of Activity

 Skill: Basic

Equipment Required:

Basic Long Skipping Rope – One per 3 or more persons

Activity Description

• As the rope brushes the floor and moves away from the skipper, they run under the moon.
• Continue running around the turners in a figure of 8 to run “Under the moon againâ€
• Encourage skipper to enter and exit the rope on a diagonal, close to each turner

Progression 

Easy: Turners can slow down the speed of the long rope or skippers can away under the rope Hard: Try jumping over the rope instead of running under it. Challenge: Can you involve other people and make up your own game.
