Learning Outcomes

Drama of the respective roles of leaders will help student in manifesting the responsibilities and they will understand in clear form what the role is about and how those ministers and the government work in state level.

Description Of Activity

·        Arrange role plays where a few students play role of the cartoon given in the book. Let them talk to each other to find out about the situation and narration.

 

·        Let them ask to take more examples from real life and ask them to role play.

 

·        On the next part as example of election. We will ask students to stand for captain roles in which only 2-3 students can role. And the other students will vote by chit system to elect one student as a captain.

 

·        Organise a debate by dividing class into two groups, i.e; ruling party and opponent party. And each student of ruling party is MLA of its constituent and he/she will represent the problems and progress of his place, whereas the ruling party will objectify the issues and raise questions to the ruling party.

Coaching Tips

As we already have Kho-Kho as a part of election in the first part, we will keep this dramatic and simple. To teach students the role of Ministers and elected leader of the state.

Equipment/Material Required

Newspaper or articles to help students in collecting data for the current affairs of the state. And find lead roles for their drama.
