ü Differentiates between non-biodegradable and bio-degradable materials.
ü Develops sportsman spirit.
ü Develops team work and co-ordination.
· Divide the group of students (40) into 2 teams of (8 Players and 2 Moderators each).
· Position of moderators 1 at the center, 1 each as runners, 1 near the basket.
· Arrange the 8 students on either side of the basket that is kept in the middle at a distance 50m from each side.
· Give them cards with names of different biodegradable and non-biodegradable materials.
· Main moderator will give a whistle so that the runners go near him/her and the moderator gives the card to chosen- biodegradable/non-biodegradable material.
· Runners should run as fast as they can to their teams and shows their card.
· Player from that group with a matching card should run fast and deposit the card into the basket that is kept at the center 50m away from each team.
· Which ever team deposits the card first gets a point.
· Game repeats till every student gets a chance.
