Students learn how much area required for construction of football ground which is rectangular in shape.

Rules of football can also be incorporated yo teach the students while they are measuring the area of football ground.

Students asked to measure the length as well as width of football ground.

Formula of area of football ground which is rectangular in shape is = Length of ground X width of gound.

If,

Length of football ground = 120m

Width of football ground = 80m

Then,

Area of football ground = 120m X 80m

= 9600 sq. m

Measurement of area of different sports field can be done which is rectangular in shape.

Rules of football game can we teach while students are measuring the area of football ground.
