1. The class will be divided into four teams name like A,B,C,D each team will have ten members and there will be a team manager in each group. Duty will be assigned to the team managers for the preparation of game.
2. The game name is called " Memory game"
3. Each team member will be given some Flash cards.
4. The game will have four rounds.
5. The teacher will ask the following questions to each team their answer will be written in the flash cards.
6. Question no. 1 for team A. What is your date of birth
Question no. 2 for team B. Can you reacll on which date you started to play a game?
Question no 3. for team C. In which year did you get the admission for class I
Question no 4. for team D. Can you remember in which age you began drinking cofee or tea
Like this four questions will be asked to each team by the teacher, the students will write the different answers in the Flash cards. In this game for I and III question they will write the exact date and year. But for II and IV they can't write the exact year and date, because the playing of game and drinking of tea habit was developed over the time. Now the teacher clearly explain that in the same way in history also, some particular incident was happened one particular day and year like the year a king was crowned, the year he married, the year he fought a particular battle etc. But some incidents like reading a newspaper, drinking tea habit was happened over a period of time, for this we can't say any particular date and year likewise the teacher can elicit responses from the students and explain on the importance of dates with the help of this memory game.
Students will enjoy learning history with the help of such interesting games. They will further motivate each other to learn about the different date and year of important events which happened in the past.
Subject teacher and P E teachers will play the role of falicitator and instructor by guiding them to draw the time line chart for the important events which happened in the past.
