Description Of Activity

Neck streching exercise

1. Children are asked to assemble on the ground

2. They are instructed to either sit or stand to perform the exercise

3.Students are asked to move their neck backward/forward and also to the sides

4.Students learn about the structure of pivot joint and movement involved

Variations

Children can be motivated to perform yoga poses that involve neck and shoulder.Example Cow pose, cat pose etc
