Observing Property of malleability in metals

oStudents will identify the material of various sports equipment they use in the play ground

oStudent will develop a vast understanding of the particular material used in different sports

oStudent will understand the property of metals (Malleability) and its importance in daily life

oStudent will develop their skill of observing the activity and finding results.

oStudent will encouraged to develop team spirit, collaboration, communication skill and Social harmony

Steps:

1.Take all the students in the playground

2.Divide them in five groups each having 8 students

3.Each students are given one material each from the material collected

4.All students of one group will take different articles

5.Time allotted in the game is 10 minutes

6.All group will collect their items with one hammer

7.Now they are told to beat the articles with hammer and convert it into thin sheet

8.All students will do the work assigned for 10 minutes then each team will be given 5 minutes to find conclusion through their game activity

Students can observe during different sports activities that property of malleabilty helps in making different sports equipments.
