1.Students will learn about different festivals, languages, culture religion,danceform folksong etc.

 2. Students would be able to appreciate various forms of diversity in their everyday lives.

Description Of Activity

Before starting the lesson  teacher will make 5 groups and they will represent of five states. Ask them to collect information about their language, food habit, dresses ,their traditional festival etc. At the time of game five circles would be made and ask to sit according to their respective groups. From  each  team  one after another will  perform any activities like dance ,folksong .painting etc .Each team will keep record of their activities done by the groups. At the end  all five groups will form one circle .They will present their diversities and  show how is diversity enrich their  lives .

Variations

Each group can play role according to their choice and try to perfom activities

Coaching Tips

Teacher will ask  the students to engage in the whole game . So that they can participate and perfom  various diverse culture.

Chalk powder  to make circle ,note book, picture of different dance form  ,dresses,etc
