Description Of Activity

Students start on hands and feet, keeping their hips low.

Move forward by alternating right hand + left foot, then left hand + right foot.

Keep head up and eyes forward.

Walk a designated distance or around a set course.

Optionally, reverse direction to walk backward on hands and feet.

Variations

Speed Walk: Move faster while maintaining form.

Obstacle Bear Walk: Navigate around cones or over low hurdles.

Side Bear Walk: Move sideways, keeping hips low.

Relay Race: Team relay using bear walk as the movement.

Animal Challenges: Combine with Crab Walk or Frog Jumps for circuit training.

Open indoor space, or dry outdoor space with grass. Rope, ribbon, or any line on the ground.
