Assemble the children in the ground . ask them to hold the hands and form a circle.
one child wears the blindfold and is chosen to be the predator and takes up the popsition in the centre of the circle.
some children are selected as the prey and sent into the circle. now, the predator has to catch all the prey relaying on the sense of hearing. as the prey are caught , they stand outside the circle. the children making up the circle then move closer to make the circle smaller in size as prey are caught.
name slips of different animals (by pasting on the shirts) can be used so that a particular predator must capture the particular prey to understand the concept of food chain and food web( eating and being eaten).
encourage the students to play safely.
