
Activity
1-The students will know the concept of Our Solar System.
2-They will learn how the different planets move around the Sun in an elongated path.
Divide the students into a group of nine . Draw eight ellongated paths by using lime powder in the playground. Make a big and deep circle in the middle of these paths. One student preferably big student will be allowed to stand at the centre. Eight other students having different hieghts( as per the planetary sizes)will stand at different positions over eight ellongated paths. Let these students to fix one one poster containing the names of planets on their chest.
Different groups may be allowed to play one after another.
Through this the teacher will try to explain the concept of our solar system and the movements of planets around the Sun.
