Description Of Activity

Description:-

Class of 40 students will be divided into 4 groups .

There will be 4 lanes

Each lane will have 10 runners

Each runner will run 100m there after a second runner will take the place ,then 3^rd ,then 4^th ans so on.

This will explain the transfer of heat in Solids

The final Runner will show the Conduction of heat in solids

Variations

The Heating Agent is Baton which is transferring the heat from one source to another.

Here the source is student, who is a  first Runner for the Group

Coaching Tips

The teacher will explain the students How the transfer of Heat takes place in solids.

Equipment/Material Required

Four Batons, Lime powder to mark the Lanes, The flag to signal students at starting point and a clapper to start the race.
