Interior of the Earth done by Archery

Learning Outcomes

* Student are able to learn about leyer structre of the earth 

* To draw and labelled the digram of the earth.

* to familarise with name of different rocks and their use.

* to understand the arrangements of the steps involved in a formation of earth interior.

 

Description Of Activity

To make a archery target board in the field which is to be divided into four parts 

* Outer part is lithosphere
* crust madeup of 35 km with SIAL of continental masses and Oceanic masses are made of SIMA with 5 Km 
* Mantle have 2900 Km 

* Core is divided outer Core and inner core.

*Students will be divided into groups and they are provided with bow and arrow .

* each group will hit the target 

* the group which will hit or attend maximum number will be awarded .Awarded students will discuss about earth interior 

 

 

Variations

student will be divided into groups like Crust ,mantle ,outer Core ,Inner Core and each group hit the target respectevely by that day they understand the interior of the earth they develop and focus in study.

Coaching Tips

Ensure participation of each student according the the strngth of the class training will be given by PETs how  to hit the target and look after the safety security of the students.
