1-Establish that light can reflect multiple time with a set of mirrors by constructing a kaleidoscope.
2-Calculate the number of image formed when mirrors are place in an angle .
3-Make mirror image.
4-Develop team work (collaboration), coordination and artistic skill.
5-To develop cardio vascular endurance .
HOW TO PLAY :
1-Assemble all the children of the class in the playground and divide them into groups consists of 6 children in each group.
2-They are asked to make equilateral triangle in the ground by using lime powder. Each side of the triangle represent the mirror facing to each other with making 60 degree to each other .
3-As each mirror are inclined at an angle of 60degree so five images will be formed when one student stand near each angle like a kaleidoscope. So for a kaleidoscope 18 students play this fun game each student in each group can interchange.
LEARNING SKILL :
When 1 student in each corner of the triangle act in different pose/exercise table the 5 images (5 student) in the back of the mirror at each corner form mirror image forming an artistic pattern like in a kaleidoscope. Different image pattern can be observed for each pose/table exercise.
1-Size of the triangle drawn such that 3 students in each corner can perform different pose, exercise /asanas etc .
2-At last two triangles can be drawn accordingly to the availability of space.
1- Students are encouraged to pace appropriately to make mirror image correctly .
2-Students are encouraged to wear house colored T-shirts to make the activity attractive .
3-They should practice regularly .
Measuring tape and quick lime powder to draw equilateral triangle , 3 sets different coloured dress ( T-shirts) for each corner in equilateral triangle .
