Description Of Activity

Students line up in lanes, each with a ball.

Teacher demonstrates the basic Criclet bowling action:

Correct grip

Side-on stance

Smooth run-up

High-arm action

Straight follow-through

Students practise bowling towards cones/wickets.

Focus on accuracy and smooth, safe technique.

Variations

Target Bowling: Hit a cone or zone.

One-Step Bowling: Start from a standing position.

Run-Up Bowling: Add 3–5 step run-up.

Partner Catch & Bowl: Bowl to a partner who stops the ball.

Accuracy Challenge: Score points for hitting the target.
 

Coaching Tips

Encourage students to keep their bowling arm relaxed.
Remind students to follow through with their bowling arm.
Provide positive feedback and constructive criticism.
