. Students will be able to explain the need for a system of transport in plants.
. Students will able to understand and differentiate between the functions of xylem and phloem.
. Students will be able to demonstrate the understanding of path of transport in plants.
. Students will be taken in the field and 2 teams with Team A assigned colour Red and Team B assigned colour green
. Each team member will be given different name tags of root hair, xylem, plhoem, water, food, leaves , stem on their backside with the name written with red colour for team A and with blue colour for team B and the tags will be hidden with a paper .
. Some students tag will be written with terms not related with transportation.
. Game will start with members of both teams first member searching for the next member scattered randomly in the field and each member must search for their other team member in correct sequence of transportation of food and mineral to win in alloted time.
Game can be played as tag your friend also and the area of running should be fixed accordingly.
Teacher will have to moniter the game closely so that students play it properly.
