childrens will be able understand the concept that the light always travels in a straight line.
Ø Choose two group leaders from the students.
Ø Choose any eight students who will stay at starting point of the swimming lanes to note the time with the help of a stop watch.
Ø Keep two students for recording the observations for two groups.
Ø Divide the rest of students in two groups, viz, ‘A’ and ‘B’.
Ø Make 4 straight lanes and 4 bent lanes in the swimming pool using lane ropes.
Ø Take all the students to the swimming pool and start the activity under the supervision of PET and Teacher.
Ø Make students to swim turn by turn group-wise
Ø Record the time taken in both the lanes and tabulate it.
Ø The students in action will be watched and observed by rest of the students.
The activity will be carried out & integrated with the concept of the topic.
ü Running a 100m track in a straight line, and a 400m curved/circular track.
ü Running in between the wickets in cricket.
ü Straight passing of foot ball and swing kicks,
ü Playing carom for straight line concept
ü Playing kho-kho.
