Learning Outcomes

1. Students will understand the meaning of endemic species.
2. Students will learn the importance of bio-diversity.
3. This activity will make students aware about environment.
4. Knowledge gained from this topic can be used in conservation of flora and fauna.

Description Of Activity

How to Play

1. Students will be divided into 4 groups.
2. Each group will have 4 students.
3. Each group will be given an empty box.
4. Instead of using baton, students will use cards prepared by teacher in which name, count and geographical location of endemic species is written.
5. The game will be played as 400m relay is played.
6. Each time new card will be issued to the participant.
7. After completion of the round participant will deposit the card into the given empty box.
8. At last all the cards will be collected and teacher will discuss the topic with the students.

Variations

More than four groups can be made. Instead of cards placards can be used
