Arrangement of students in different triangular shapes to understand the concept of Angle Sum Property of triangles by Handball passing

Learning Outcomes

1. Students will be able to understand the concept of Angle Sum Property of Triangles.

 2. Skills of Joyfulness, Self esteem, cooperation will be developed amongst the students.

Description Of Activity

How to Play

                        1. Students of the whole class will be divided into three groups.

                        2. With chalk powder, three different shaped triangles will be marked to fix the boundary.

                        3. Students will be arranged on these three marked triangles (i.e. scalene triangle, Right

                            Angled triangle and Obtuse angle triangle).

                       4. Each student will pass the ball to the nearby students  and complete the one circle of the

                          process.

                     5. Continue in this way 10 circles will be completed without dropping the ball.

                     6.  In this arrangement interior angles will be measured and recorded in a table for

                           verification of the concept that Sum of the interior angles of a triangle is 1800.
