Activity
1.Count the number of terms in an algebric expression and classify them as monomial, binomial, trinomial, or polynomial in general.
2.Develop direct measurment skill.
3. Develop running and jumping skill also.
1. We fix a stsrting line at a fix distance (say 30m) for running from jumping start line.
2. All the students divided 4-5 in groups and we explain the activity ie. before running each students take a variable for his/her jumping distance like x or y or z ..... etc. these are monomial.
3.suppose a student of first group run and jump .if he/she take variable x then total distance covered by that student equal x+30, similarly next y+30, z+30....... etc. These algebric expression are binomial.
4.If we add distance covered by any two students x+y+60 ie. trinomial. Or polynomials.
1. Jumping activity perform in back direction ie. 30-x.
2. If we measure jumping distance directly(say4m) by tape so we reach oa form of equcation ie. x+30= 34.
The activity may perform in other game like tripal jump .
Measuring Tap. morbal dust.
